Need new caster template!

Hey all!

I would like to get some ideas/help for new caster templates for my sm/rm/bd/wl!

I wants to try see if i can get a decent template, atm im playing with ml10torso/legs/cloak, and then i would like to use shield and 1h weap!

Someone there have any ideas for a template like this ?

I can also accept a template with TG torso if and another cloak tho, i hope some of u guys can give me some ideas or help me a bit

Unless something has changed recently, you can't add focus to anything other than staffs. Either the gems don't work or don't exist...I don't fully remember, though RM/SM generally avoid the 1h+shield due to the power issues that come with it, WL/BD seem to be able to manage a lot easier.

This is the SM Temp, it got 6 more Con due to TG vest on SM got +6 con cap and other casters TG vest dont.

Nc have u tried the template on a SM ? to see if the power is getting burned of fast ?

Well, first of you should consider what items you atleast should use. I'd say get Cloth Cap for sure(50% power charge) and a shapechanging arti(Preferebly Maddening Scalars). TG vest might be better then the astral vest aswell(Better utility), and you dont need to have the astral vest equipped to use the cloak.. So:


helm: cloth cap
Gloves: maddening
Leggings: Astral
weapon: astral
Cloak: astral
Chest. TG

Then maybe try to fit inn bracelet of zo'arkat for the fumble charge!

I havnt made this template on any toons yet (Still missing Scales).. Maria is running it on BD but as Soazak said, they might cope with it better than RM/SM... Your best bet is to ass in /AS or VNboards to get input from ppls who tried it.

For my temp you will have 2x50% power regen (Staff + Dragon Shield). and 30% Regen (JS)... + it runs with the regen sleeves and a greater power myth, all this combined makes me belive it will work..
And whats up with running ML10 Weapon ?. it contributes with nothing to a caster if you ask me.

You need the ml10 weapon to summon the astral cloak, with the caster astral cloak you get to spawn elemental spirit to attack(Does about 100dmg + and lasts for a couple of minutes)!

Aaah ok, so you wont have to run with a ML10 weap equip for the template, thats what i though you wanted..
